Shipping & Returns


SHIPPING

We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations

UK DELIVERY

For orders placed between Mondays and Fridays, we aim to ship your order within 24hrs*. If your order is placed during the weekend or a bank holiday, we will aim to ship your order the next working day.

We offer two shipping options:

1. Royal Mail First Class Recorded Sign For

Orders shipped using this method are delivered within 2-4 days of posting.

2. Royal Mail Next Day Delivery**

Orders shipped using this method are delivered before 1pm the next working day (Mon-Fri only). If you require a Saturday delivery, please contact us first.

A signature is required on delivery for both options. If you are not in when our couriers first try to deliver they will leave a calling card and take your order back. A further deliver attempt will be made however if they are still unable to deliver the parcel, it will be held at your local Post Office or delivery deport of which you will be advised on the card left by the couriers. This will be held at the Post Office for a further 2 weeks after which time it will be return to us. Further re-deliveries may incur a further postal charge.

Deliveries to Northern Ireland, the Highlands and Islands and AB postcodes will take longer to arrive.

INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY

We use Royal Mail International Airmail Signed For. Delivery is expected to take 3-5 working days. A signature is required on delivery.

RETURNS POLICY

Items are described and photographed as accurately as possible, but please note that sizes, colours and designs may vary. A majority of our items are hand embroidered and therefore fragile in their usage. From time to time the embroidery (beading, stones, thread etc) may get displaced but this is not regarded as a fault but is due to the nature of the work. These garments should be worn with care and are mainly for special occasions.

We want you to be happy each and every time you buy from us. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase and wish to return an item, you must contact us within 7 days of receiving your order. Please contact returns@apnasarees.co.uk with your order and return/exchange request details and we will provide you with a unique Returns Authorisation Number and instructions on how to proceed. Returns cannot be accepted without a valid Returns Authorisation Number.

Please note we are only able to accept items that have not been worn, altered or used. All packaging and labels must be in tact. You must take reasonable care of the goods and immediately return them to us in the normal way. We will not consider that you have taken reasonable care of the goods if they have been used in a way or to an extent beyond what would be reasonable when examining the goods in a shop before purchase. *Note: All products are checked thoroughly before dispatch. Please take care when trying on items of clothing and please ensure that you are not wearing make-up, perfume or a deodorant, which may leave marks or a scent on the item. We will be unable to accept the return of any item where there is evidence that these instructions have not been followed.

In the interest of hygiene, jewelery sets containing earrings cannot be returned unless they are faulty.

We cannot accept liability of items until they have been received by our offices; therefore you need to ensure that you get the proof of posting and adequate insurance to cover the value of returned goods. In the event your item goes missing during the return delivery, you must follow up your claim with the courier used. We cannot offer you a refund or exchange if the item is not delivered to us.

Items returned are done so at your own expense. We will only refund you the cost if the items but not the original or return delivery charge. Only if we have made a mistake on an item sent to you or it is faulty or damaged we will refund the original delivery charges you have paid to receive that item and the return delivery charge up to a maximum of £5. If the item has been sent using our free shipping offer, refunds are processed less any shipping costs.

Refunds will be processed within 28 days of receipt of returns. In keeping with our fraud prevention measures refunds will only be issued in the same form as payments hence we will only refund to the same credit/debit card used to make the purchase.
